"Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel." Philippians 1:12
Hi everyone! Here is another quick update from the Eickmeiers!
Luke was able to finally get off the ship for a short time! He was able to trek out into his port in Spain for essential items so got to see some sites along the way. He went for a run or two on land which I know felt great to him. He then quarantined at sea for 14 days and is now back in port in Greece! They have picked up some more people on their ship so he has gotten to meet some new folks. His Bible study is going well, continued prayers for that! We have been watching closely what the embassy and others are saying about travel. The plan for now is for me to try to fly to see him during the ship's docking period which lasts three weeks at the end of July/early August! We hope all of you reading this are doing well and we thank you for your support and prayers. Our prayer is that this time of extended absence from one another not be in vain and that God uses it to do in mine and Luke's hearts as He wishes to better prepare us for His good works!
"Many are the plans in the mind of man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand." Proverbs 19:21
"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps"
Proverbs 16:9
"Therefore don't worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Matthew 6:34
"And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:7
